Former midfielder Shaun Wright-Phillips believes Chelsea would not be in the market to sign Jadon Sancho from Manchester United this summer.

The England international join the Blues on loan with an option to buy for around £20-25m in the winter transfer window, but his performances were so poor that the club are reportedly prepare to pay £5m in compensation to send him back to the Red Devils.
However, Wright-Phillips does not see any เล่น UFABET ผ่านมือถือ สะดวกทุกที่ ทุกเวลา harm in Chelsea buying Sancho outright, believing his potential would be a huge boost for the club.
“Chelsea seem to buy players who have the potential to be, can be or become, top players,” Wright-Phillips said. “We all know the potential of Jadon and if Chelsea do the same job they do, then usually they will sign him because they know what he can do and have seen it before.”
“But I think what doesn’t help at the moment is that he’s not only not scoring goals, he’s not creating enough chances.”
“If Chelsea take a risk with the number of players they take a risk with. I don’t think he’s a bad player. We know what he’s shown in football. If he comes back, you’ve got a good player in the team.”
