Sandro Wagner has turned down a job as Hoffenheim manager, with Julian Nagelsmann assistant reportedly set to reach an agreement with the club.

Julian Nagelsmann’s assistant Sandro Wagner has turned down the chance to take over as Hoffenheim manager this summer, with the 37-year-old reportedly agreeing a deal with the Bundesliga club.

Wagner has confirmed he will leave his role แทงบอล UFABET ราคาดีที่สุด ไม่มีขั้นต่ำ as Nagelsmann’s assistant after Germany’s Nations League campaign in June, with Hoffenheim seen as their number one target amid the prospect of parting ways with Austrian coach Christian Ilzer at the end of the season. 

However, after negotiations between the two, Wagner is said to have turn down Hoffenheim’s advances. The reason behind this is that the former striker has already reached an agreement with another Bundesliga side over becoming their head coach in the summer.

The current Bundesliga sides who are looking for a new head coach are Wolfsburg and RB Leipzig. While the future of Bayer Leverkusen’s Xabi Alonso is heavily in doubt.

However, Wagner has reportedly rejected an offer from Hoffenheim as the 37-year-old former striker has already reached an agreement with the Bundesliga club to take on a managerial role this summer.

Wagner has previously been link with a number of clubs, including Wolfsburg, RB Leipzig and Leverkusen, with Xavier Alonso likely to leave the German giants at the end of the season. 

Meanwhile, Hoffenheim have also been link with Paderborn’s Lucas Kwasnok, St. Pauli’s Alexander Plessin and Karlsruher’s Christian Eichner.
